At about 800 metres high, right in the middle of a sixteenth-century lava flow, you can find the Planeta Feudo di Mezzo and Terrazze dell’Etna wineries. Here you can enjoy your experience tasting the best wines of northern Mount Etna, found between the beautiful Taormina and Catania.The program is:
Pick up at hotel by your English speaking driver.
Drive to Etna North in Castiglione di Sicilia.
Arrival at Etna North in Castiglione di Sicilia.
Visit Planeta Feudo di Mezzo Winery, located in a spectacular position within a lava flow dating from 1566, just a few meters away from the “Sciara Nuova” and “Monteguardia” vineyards. You will taste four Planeta Wines are produced here.
Then drive to the new wine estate Terrazze dell’Etna to visit the vineyards and enjoy a Sicilian light lunch with their very special wines.
Return to the hotel.
